About the Role

  1. Procurement of Raw Materials / Equipment / Parts / Construction and Services.
  2. Procurement Strategy Development, Timely Purchase Order Issuance, Negotiation and Bidding including RFQ, Contract with the Supplier, Delivery/Schedule and Custom Clearance Management related to Tax exemption such as FTA
  3. Demand / Market analysis, qualified vendor pool management, mid/long- and short-term Supplier Relation Management
  4. New vendor development and vendor performance evaluation
  5. To maintain good and effective communications network with internal stakeholders throughout the company
  6. Alignment with Global / APAC Procurement policy
  7. Ensuring that all the procurement activities should comply with Governmental Regulations, Company Policies/Procedures/Processes and Code of Conduct as applicable.
  8. Target Setting/Management and Activities for Cost Reduction
  9. Ability to work well as both Procurement team member and an individual contributor

Your Skills and Experience

  • At least 12-years’ experience of purchasing or related commercial work experience in manufacturing business
  • Career of both Raw Material Purchasing and Equipment Purchasing
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical or commercial is required
  • Strong communication, cooperation, teamwork, interpersonal skill, commercial-focused and strategic mindset is essential
  • Good foundation in purchasing know-how and negotiation skills is highly required.
  • Good skill of analysis, coordination and reporting is required
  • Good English skills at least and can communicate a business conversation by English
  • Good computer skills for MS office
  • Experience working for in multi-national company is preferred
